AYURVEDA Therapy

Ayurveda means, in Sanskrit, the science (veda) of life (ayur), and is an ancient Indian therapy that uses massage, nutrition, aromatherapy, herbal medicine, among others. Through the diagnosis based on the study of body, mind and soul this therapy, besides healing also acts as a preventive medicine.

Ayurveda believes that the human body is made up of 3 principles, the 3 Doshas, ​​which are Vata, Pitta and Kapha, which are combinations of the elements Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Imbalance in the proportion of these elements can lead to the onset of disease, so through massage, diet and herbal medicine, specific to each Dosha, this therapy aims to keep the elements in the body of each human being in balance.

 

All treatments are carried out with high quality therapeutic vegetable and essential oils.

Ayurveda Classic Massage 60'|90'

Deep and relaxing massage that restores the balance of body and mind. Specific oil and various techniques are used to improve blood circulation, remove toxic substances, relieve stress among others. Considered one of the most complete massages known to man.

Indian Head Massage

Is based on the ancient Ayurvedic form of healing that dates back almost 4,000 years. It works the upper three chakras: vishuddha, ajna, and sahasrara, and can be used for physical harmony, for healing, for vitality, and for good, old-fashioned relaxation.

Shirodhara

Is a form of Ayurveda therapy that involves gently pouring liquids over the forehead and can be one of the steps involved in Panchakarma.  has been used to treat a variety of conditions including eye diseases, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, greying of hair, neurological disorders, memory loss, insomnia, hearing impairment, tinnitus, vertigo, Ménière's disease and certain types of skin diseases like psoriasis.

Marma Detox

Marma points are manipulated by several techniques. Rubbing the Marma, applying pressure, oil massage, herbal paste application, and fomentation may be used according to the diseased condition. Stimulation of Marma can produce analgesia by secreting a number of prostaglandin inhibitors, endorphins, interferon and other opioid-like substances which are a hundred times more potent than opium. 

Abhyanga

Abhyanga is a synchronized massaging of the body towards the direction of the movement of arterial blood.

In practical terms, it means massaging the body in the direction of the body hair. The scientific reason for this may be due to the increase in blood flow towards the most distal parts of the body. If the massage is done towards the heart, or in the direction opposite to that of the body hair, the massage may overwhelm the heart through the increased venous return.

Pada Abhyanga

Padabhyanga is Ayurvedic  foot massage (Pada = foot and Abhyanga = massage) which is soothing, revitalizing, calming and balancing various disturbances of the autonomic nervous system. The feet are very important part in our body as it contains many nerve endings.

Pindas | Kizhis

Kizhi Ayurveda treatment is a type of massage performed using small satchels containing herbal powders, herbs, rice or sand.  This type of massage is indicated for mostly for pain management and stress reduction. Is a useful is Ayurvedic treatment for osteoarthritis, spondylosis, muscular cramps, obesity, swelling, diabetes, and low Back Pain.

Thai Yoga Massage

In this method, the therapist uses hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points on the energy lines, together with gentle stretching and applied Hatha Yoga. This releases blocked energy and frees the body's healing potential, restoring balance and harmony. This treatment improves flexibility, relaxes, restores and energizes.

Udvartana

Ayurvedic Udvartanam is a fat burning full body massage for Weight Loss. This Ayurvedic full body massage uses some special strokes especially at the areas of fat deposition in the body aswell as a mixture of powder. The massage helps to melt the fat which is further expelled out from body through therapies such as Kashaya Vasti, which involves enema using medicated decoction.

Nasyam

Ayurvedic therapy that includes instillation of herbal oils, juices or powders through the nasal route. It works specifically on disorders of ear, nose and throat. Nasya is one among the five Panchakarma therapies. It is especially desirable for diseases of parts above the base of the neck; nasal passage being the gateway of the head.

Swedana

A common Ayurvedic practice, swedana is a form of therapy that uses herbal steam to release toxins from the body through the skin. From Sanskrit, sweda (or swid) means “perspiration" or "sweat”; and during this therapy, sweat is released through the pores in the skin which release ama, or "toxins," that are rooted deep in the body.
